The pictures above show the present build-out of the Cynthia Rowley installation in the atrium of the 4141 Building...currently a work in progress. The installation will playfully toy with the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, as we are creating an interactive outdoor park (complete with swings, bushes and a big grassy hill) inside. At the heart of the installation will be parked our Shop on Wheels, a DHL shipping truck that we've converted into a sleek Cynthia Rowley store. It's outfitted with hardwood floors, a fitting room, printed-fabric wall coverings and lucite fixtures and carries the entire range of items in the Cynthia Rowley collection—clothing, shoes, bags, eyewear, jewelry, legwear and more. When not stationed in Miami, the Shop on Wheels cruises the country, bringing the complete Cynthia Rowley retail experience to private homes, parties and trunk shows...even pulling into customers' driveways for private fittings on appointment. It’s a way of giving our customers the ultimate in service. On its way down to Miami, the Shop on Wheels has stopped in Richmond, Raleigh, Charlottesville and Savannah (at boutiques for trunk shows) and will cover parts of the Southwest on the way back. The Shop on Wheels is brand new, and we are officially launching it via the Miami installation. Limited-edition items available to purchase only at our Miami installation will include a Cynthia Rowley "Relax" picnic blanket (only 65 have been made, and each will be numbered...pic attached) and a boxed lunch to eat, picnic-style, on our grassy knoll. The lunch will be prepared by Fratelli Lyon, the Miami institution, and will include a mini bottle of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka.
